The Beginning – We set up the first state-of-the-art neonatal unit in Gujarat with dedicated Neonatal Emergency Transport Services (NETS).
First usage of surfactant in Western India.

2003
First hospital in the region to start inhaled Nitric Oxide Therapy to treat infants with pulmonary hypertension.
First in the region to start whole body Cooling Therapy for babies with birth asphyxia.

2004
Saved a 24 week old baby weighing 0.750 grams requiring open heart surgery. The first case in India.

2005
Saved a 25 week old baby with just 0.650 grams weight. The baby went home in a healthy state.

2010
Saved 25 weeks old twins – Heer & Het, weighing 0.540 grams and 0.680 grams respectively.

2011
Saved a baby after intestinal surgery, requiring parenteral nutrition (IV Nutrition) for almost 8 months of hospitalization.
Established State of Art stand-alone NICU with more NICU beds.

2013
Shaheen and her baby defied odds when she flew from Jeddah to Ahmedabad as no hospital in Jeddah would admit her. Her baby was delivered at 680 grams, delivered just 22 weeks in pregnancy.
Her baby boy was treated at Arpan’s Neonatal ICU for three months, before being discharged as a healthy 1.5 kg baby.

2014
Saved a preterm baby delivered to a mother on dialysis from 28 weeks of gestation age of pregnancy.

2015
Survival of 0.478 gm Baby Himanshi requiring ventilator support for almost 4 months in NICU
Awarded for Excellence in Medical Field by the Ahmedabad Medical Association in 2015

2017
Saved 23 weeker twin babies weighing 0.650 grams and 0.630 grams of Dr. Jalpa, by the blessings of Pujya Morari Bapu.

2019
Dr. Ashish Mehta was awarded with “Health Icon of the Year” award for 2018-2019. He also received “White Coat Wizard” Award for 2019.
Opened a new hi-tech centre in Ahmedabad – Arpan Violet. Established Breast Milk Bank Facility at Arpan Violet where mothers can voluntarily express and donate breast milk for sick babies.
